Asked Questions

  • What types of cabinets are available in the catalog?
    We make your custom cabinets any size for any residential application including kitchens, bathroom vanities, closets, garage and utility cabinets.
  • What is the current lead time?
    We list our current lead times on our website here. Production starts from when the order is verified, not when initially placed. Verification is part of our quality control process to ensure your order is correct.
  • Can I get a rush order?
    We do not have a rush payment option available at this time.
  • Are the cabinets packed flat or assembled?
    You can specify your preference during the ordering process.
  • Do you offer design services?
    We do offer in-house design services. Pricing ranges from project to project, so best to contact us for a quote. Please note that payment for design services is billed separately from the cabinets. Design services require a 50% non refundable deposit. Our resource page also has some very talented designers that can help design your dream space.
  • I would like something special that I don’t see in the catalog…
    We know some design challenges are very intense! If you have an idea of something that you would really like to see, shoot us a quick email. We can either do a custom quotation, or add it to the library for everyone to enjoy!
  • Do you accept hand written orders or CAD drawings?
    No, we do not (unless we have given you a price through design services). All orders must be placed through our intuitive online ordering system.
  • Do you offer an installation service?
    Not at this time, although we do have a list of installation contractors that may be able to help depending on your area and scope of work.
  • Do you do countertops?
    No, we specialize in custom cabinetry only.
  • How do I order samples?
    Samples will be available for purchase once logged into the ordering system.
  • Do you offer deposit options or payment terms?
    Not at this time. All orders must be paid for in full prior to the start of the production process
  • What are your accepted payment methods?
    We accept major credit cards and etransfer/bank transfer. Cash or cheque payments are not accepted at this time.
  • Can I pay my bill online?
    Absolutely! All invoices have provision for accepting credit card payments via a link sent with the email.
  • Can I change or cancel my order?
    Our system is totally integrated from the order entry point to the factory floor. As such no changes or cancellations can be made for any reason once the order has been verified by the customer. To reiterate: once orders have been verified, the order cannot be batched, modified, canceled or added to.
  • Can I request a refund or return?
    This is a totally custom, made to order product. As such, no returns or refunds are possible.
  • Do you offer financing?
    Not at this time.
  • Where do you ship?
    As an additional cost, we can provide a quote for local white glove delivery service within the Greater Vancouver. This is on a project by project basis and conditions apply. Contact us for more information. For longer distances, we prepare your order for pickup at our warehouse by the carrier of your choice! We currently only ship within Canada.
  • Do you palletize or wrap for shipping with standard freight carriers?
    Yes we can! For small orders, we wrap in foam and/or cardboard and palletize large orders. Contact us for pricing on wrapping/palletizing as the cost varies with each order.
  • What happens if a part is damaged or missing from my order?
    Orders must be inspected for manufacturing defects upon arrival and no later than 3 days of receiving or the claim will be considered invalid. Please contact the office immediately if you have any issues. D3 Custom Cabinets is not responsible for costs/delays associated with missing or damaged products.
  • My parts were damaged in transit. What now?
    Take photos of the exterior packaging and claim through your chosen 3rd party freight provider. We can provide paperwork to assist your claim and begin fabricating any replacement order as soon as possible.
  • Do you accept returned pallets and packaging materials?
    We do not accept returns of pallets or packaging materials. The customer is solely responsible for the discarding of the packaging materials.
  • What is the warranty?
    We offer a Limited lifetime guarantee on hardware and a limited (5) year warranty against manufacturing defects for cabinet components. This warranty does not cover damage by others or any other cost associated with arising issues (replacement of countertops, reinstallation, etc). Please see the terms and conditions for more details.
  • How do I clean my cabinets?
